The American Annals of the Deaf a peer-reviewed academic journal published quarterly with one annual special. It is the oldest English language journal which focuses on topics related to deaf people, including deaf education and the deaf experience. It was established in 1847 and is the official organ of the Convention of American Instructors of the Deaf and the Conference of Educational Administrators of Schools and Programs for the Deaf.
